Role:

The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for coordinating projects of varying size and complexity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager.


Major Responsibilities:

Attend client meetings and assist with the determination of project requirements

Oversee all project-related activities and planning

Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports

Prepare project organization and communications to project team and clients

Schedule meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members

Work with project implementation team during implementation as needed

Works with project managers to develop RFPs and RFIs, bid documents, and other solicitation documents

Use ConnectWise to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures

Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team

Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner

Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders

Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others

Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources

Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations

Champion operational efficiencies, assist with project budgeting, cost-cutting, process control improvements, and perform various financial analyses and reporting


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, MIS, or related field

Excellent analytical and project management skills

Effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills

Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment

Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project software skills

Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure
